Intermittent Claudication |
Ages 40 and older, non-smoker; Study for people with intermittent claudication which results from poor oxygen in the muscles in the lower extremities. Symptoms include an aching pain, cramping, numbness in the calf, buttock, hip, thigh, or arch of the foot. Symptoms are induced by walking or exercise and are relieved at rest. Study evaluates an investigational medication to see if it improves walking distance, relieves symptoms, and improves quality of life; Seven month outpatient study with 8 clinic visits; Study-related Medical Services, Study Medication, and Compensation provided for time and travel. |

Ages 40 and older; Study for people who have osteoarthritis pain in their knees and routinely take pain-relieving medicine; Study is of an investigational medication to see if it relieves signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis in the knees as compared to an approved pain-relieving medication; Three month outpatient study with only 5 clinic visits; Qualified participants will receive study-related medical services, study medication. |

Ages 18 and older; Study for people who have suffered from osteoarthritis pain in both knees for at least 6 months and have used an oral NSAID at least 3 days per week for three months and currently take an oral medication regularly for pain; Study compares an approved, oral medication in an investigational, topical medication for relieving OA pain; Approximately 14 week outpatient study with only 6 clinic visits; Study Drug, Physical Exams, Routine Labs, EKG, Knee X-ray if required; Compensation For Time And Travel. |
